TIES Philippines Inc. executives, led by Founder Vilma Mendoza and Ms. Ma. Raysolyn Natividad, had a courtesy visit with Mr. Edwin Bautista (Provincial Cooperative Development Officer of Laguna) and Ms. Aldea Roquel (Municipal Cooperative Development Officer of Sta. Cruz, Laguna). The purpose of the said visit was to explore potential cooperation in implementing ecotourism projects within the mentioned localities.

Ms. Roquel, who is also the concurrent Chairperson of the Municipal Cooperative Development Council of Sta. Cruz, and the Laguna Provincial Cooperative Development Council suggested to hold another meeting with TIES executives to discuss in depth the possible collaboration among their respective organizations.

Ecotourism projects typically focus on promoting sustainable tourism that highlights the natural environment and local cultures while contributing to community development and conservation efforts.
